Two ways in

Bring a finished release, or build one from your catalogue

Start with a release you have already assembled, or let Distriqa help build one from your folders. Both workflows finish with the same distributor-ready delivery package.

Pre-arranged release

Bring your own release

Already selected and ordered your tracks? Import the completed structure of a single, EP or album, standardise the metadata, validate identifiers, check credits, run QA, and export the required files - without changing your album.

Folder to delivery

Build a release with Distriqa

Working through a larger catalogue? Select folders of finished masters and Distriqa analyses them locally, proposes coherent releases and track order, identifies missing information, and prepares organised delivery packages for your approval.

Local folder tools need Chrome or Edge.

How it works

Five steps. You always know where a release is.

STEP 1
Start
Create a new release for metadata work, or choose local folders of finished masters.
STEP 2
Review the structure
Distriqa proposes releases and track order - or import the structure you already have.
STEP 3
Complete the metadata
Artist names, titles, versions, dates, credits and identifiers, standardised and verified.
STEP 4
Resolve every flag
Detected problems in metadata, identifiers, artwork, audio and delivery - each one explained.
STEP 5
Approve and export
Export the metadata files or the complete organised package, in your distributor-compatible format.
AI-assisted. Label-controlled.

Distriqa proposes. You approve.

Proposed releases, track order and suggested metadata can all be edited. Your own credits are never silently overwritten, uncertain information is flagged with its sources, and nothing is renamed, reorganised or delivered without your approval.

Cover artwork

Delivery-spec covers, generated or checked

Covers are generated at delivery spec - 3000 x 3000 px, with album title and artist designed into the artwork. Upload your own finished artwork at no credit cost and it is checked against delivery requirements. Generated covers belong to your label and stay on your computer between sessions.

Failed generations are never charged. Identical retries are never charged twice.
Lite1 artwork credit

One quick, clean finished cover. Add another direction for one more credit.

Pro2 artwork credits

One session returns three different cover concepts - pick the one you want. Three more directions for two more credits.

FAQ

Plain answers

What is Distriqa?

Release-preparation and metadata QA software for independent record labels. It builds, standardises and verifies release metadata, checks identifiers and artwork, and exports distributor-ready files - for one new single or an entire catalogue.

Is Distriqa a music distributor?

No. Distriqa prepares releases for the distributor you already have. Keep your distributor; stop preparing releases by hand.

Can I use Distriqa only for metadata?

Yes. Bring a pre-arranged single, EP or album and use the metadata tools on their own - you never have to scan an audio folder.

Does my audio leave my computer?

No. Audio scanning, technical analysis, renaming and folder organisation all happen locally in your browser. Your masters are never uploaded. Some optional cloud features process release information such as project metadata and research queries.

Which browsers support the local folder tools?

Chrome or Edge. Distriqa works directly with music folders on your computer, which currently requires Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. You can still sign in from another browser, but the local file tools will not be available.

Can I edit the proposed albums and track order?

Yes. Every proposal - releases, track order, suggested metadata - can be changed, and you preview filename and folder changes before anything is applied.

What consumes a credit?

One track credit per delivered track, used at delivery. One artwork credit per generated image: a Lite cover is 1 credit, a Pro session (three concepts, pick one) is 2. Scanning, preparation and QA are free. Failed generations are never charged.

Can a distributor still reject a release?

Yes - a distributor can reject a release for reasons outside Distriqa's control. Distriqa catches preventable problems and explains every detected blocker before export, but final acceptance rests with your distributor.
