Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Distriqa. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read the privacy policy and refund policy as well, which form part of these terms.

The service

Distriqa is software that helps record labels and artists turn raw audio into a release package ready for a distributor. It curates releases, prepares metadata, resolves composer credits, runs quality checks, and exports files in a distributor's format. Distriqa prepares files for delivery; it is not a distributor and does not deliver music to stores on your behalf.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You must be able to form a binding contract to use Distriqa.

Your content and rights

You keep ownership of the audio, images, and metadata you upload, and of the release packages and cover art Distriqa produces for you. You may use them freely, including commercially.

You confirm that you hold the necessary rights to the material you upload, including the recordings, any images you supply for cover art, and the right to distribute the resulting releases. You are responsible for the accuracy of the catalogue information you submit. You agree not to use Distriqa for material you do not have the rights to, or for any unlawful purpose.

Credits and payment

Distriqa is pay as you go. Credits are purchased in one-time packs and are spent when you deliver a track or generate a cover. Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Paddle, which handles billing and applicable taxes. Prices are shown in US dollars. Refunds are governed by our refund policy.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the service, access it through automated means beyond normal use, resell access without permission, or use it to infringe the rights of others. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

Availability and accuracy

We work to keep Distriqa accurate and available, but the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Automated curation, metadata and composer resolution are aids, not guarantees; you remain responsible for reviewing a release before you deliver it. We do not warrant that a distributor or store will accept any particular release.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Distriqa is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost revenue, or lost data arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the three months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using Distriqa at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Unused credits remain subject to the refund policy.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the date above, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Albania, where Distriqa is operated, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
